چکیده

Abstract The small amplitude ion-acoustic solitary waves in the magneto-rotating plasma consisting of cold fluid ions, hot positrons, and two-temperature electrons (cold electrons) are investigated when obey a modified Cairns-Tsallis distribution. By using reductive perturbation method, we derive Korteweg–de Vries equation obtain wave solutions. dependences solutions on nonextensive q -parameter, nonthermal α -parameter physical quantities analyzed numerically. We show significant effects etc waves.

Compressive and rarefactive dust-ion acoustic solitary waves in four components ‎quantum plasma with dust-charge variation

Based on quantum hydrodynamics theory (QHD), the propagation of nonlinear quantum dust-ion acoustic (QDIA) solitary waves in a ‎collision-less, unmagnetized four component quantum plasma consisting of electrons, positrons, ions and stationary negatively charged ‎dust grains with dust charge variation is investigated using reductive perturbation method. The charging current to the dust grains ca...

Investigation of Dust-Ion Acoustic Waves in a Magnetized Collisional Dusty Plasma with Kappa Distribution Function for Electrons

The propagation of arbitrary amplitude dust ion acoustic waves (DIAWs) in a magnetized collisional dusty plasma including hot electrons, with kappa velocity distribution for electrons, warm ions and dust particles has been studied. In the presence of immobile massive dust particulates, DIAWs have been investigated through the Sagdeev pseudo-potential method. It is demonstrated that the amplitud...

Re-examining the Cairns-Tsallis model for ion acoustic solitons.

Recently, a hybrid distribution function [Tribeche et al., Phys. Rev. E 85, 037401 (2012)] was proposed to describe a plasma species with an enhanced superthermal component. This combines a Cairns-type "nonthermal" form with the Tsallis theory for nonextensive thermodynamics. Using this alternative model, the propagation of arbitrary amplitude ion acoustic solitary waves in a two-component plas...

Linear stability and instability of ion-acoustic plasma solitary waves

The Euler–Poisson equations for a cold, collisionless plasma support ion-acoustic solitary waves. We prove that these waves are spectrally stable at low amplitude in one space-dimension and present numerical evidence that they destabilize at finite amplitude before they develop singularities. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. Electrostatic Ion - Cyclotron Waves in a Two - Ion Component Plasma

The excitation of electrostatic ion-cyclotron (EIC) waves is studied in a single-ended Q machine in a two-ion-component plasma (Cs+ and K+). Over a large range of relative concentrations of Cs+ and K+ ions, two modes are excited with frequencies w , z Q,,, and w2 t QK+, where the Q's are the respective cyclotron frequencies. The results are discussed in terms of a fluid theory of electrostatic ...
